Went at the weekend, saving pennies for Azerbijan and the friendly in November and I hated the place last time, so had no desire to go back.

However I have had endless messages from those that are there today and am now regretting not going. I mean what is one beating from the OB every 4 years....

Ah yes, the fosters incident, where everyone thought he had to come up for air, but no he necked the lot, whilst Bernie was being interviewed. Everyone else gets videos of their childhood as birthday presents, Pete gets them of his drinking exploits.

That was the same trip, when he drank a bottle of Vodka on the ferry crossing from Dover to Belgium, passed out on the coach, woke up when they were driving through Brussels, stumbled down the coach and asked the driver to drop him at Preston Circus...

Ah this is going to descend into the usual all England fans get what they deserve. However in that picture you will notice that there are a lot of people in green bomber jackets, they are the Polish hoolies, bang up for it. At least 2 of the people in that picture I know (I think you know one of them) and I know they are not hoolies, but the OB did nothing to help stop the trouble. Instead once the Poles had gone the OB then laid into the English. It is bandit country out there and to be honest if the English steam them tonight, I would suspect it will be because they have been pushed to it by the OB.

The same sort of thing happened in Warsaw in 1999, when the Poles were thowing bricks and bottles at us in the ground. The OB did nothing, so the English steamed the fences, went into the Polish stand, ran the Poles half way down the stand so they were out of throwing range and then retreated back into the away end. Except the police battered all the English going back into the away end.

Hooligans/wanabee hooligans whatever, always say they only fight their own. Firstly, anyone with a brain knows that thisis bollocks. Secondly, and the point I am trying to make is Violence is the worst part of any society (bar sexual violence). I am 100% certain most people who don't see a problem with footbal violence would think that taking hard drugs infront of a child is wrong and yet they don't give a flying f*** about normal people who are going to get caught up in/witness their rucks. English, Polish whatever, f***ing morons.

I was not having a go at you mate, or FTM for that matter.

Having witnessed so extremely violent incidents in the many years of watching footy I do abhor and images that show thi sort of thing. That is more what I was objecting to.

I also out of principal will not read any books that glorify hooliganism that seems to be the genre these days.

I was at this game and just out of the photograph shown above running as fast as I could to get away. This game is the only time I've been hit at a football match to this day. The Poles are crazy and sell tickets to clubs of the Polish league in club blocks to try and prevent them kicking it of with each other (doesn't work as there was trouble all around ground that night and not in the English end). That night seven of us got attacked by at least 50 Polish policemen dressed as Robo cop and are crime we was walking down the street.

Poland mad place to go and watch football and in no great hurry to go back there.
