Stupid be-atch!

from the BBC
Rangers defender Maurice Ross is at the centre of a police probe after being accused of hitting a female Celtic fan with a football.
It follows Sunday's Scottish Cup meeting with Glasgow rivals Rangers.

A woman lodged a complaint after right-back Ross was reported to have kicked a ball into the crowd during the half-time warm-up.

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: "We have received a complaint into an incident and inquiries are ongoing."

Ross, capped 12 times by Scotland, was an unused substitute during Rangers' 1-0 quarter-final defeat.

The Scottish Daily Express reported that the woman had been hit on the arm but did not require medical treatment.

That has got to be taking the piss. A player kicking the ball into the crowd when warming up hit her on the arm and she thinks thats a reasont o report it to the police.

I hope the coppers laugh it off.

ITs almost a "Yorkie, its not for girls" advert.

Ross, capped 12 times by Scotland,

This is easily the most shocking aspect of this non-story. How he got near a Scotland cap says all you need to know about how poor we are these days. As we say in these parts, he's a f***ing haddy.

Well, indeed.

I saw him playing in a friendly vs NZ at your beloved Tynecastle last summer and he was bleeding atrocious. Subbed at h-t.
