Police drop Clattenburg enquiry

I'm not sure that you cant debate it reasonable, without club allegiences getting into it. My point is more to do with the SBL, should you be allowed to be offended by chanting at a game that you weren't in attendence at or havent heard or seen yourself? Whilst I fully support people who have been racially abused making a complaint to be properly investigated, at what point do you have to be offended on behalf of others? Or to use the situation for your own political ends?

When men started wearing the pink ladies Brighton shirts at the Withdean ironically, should I have had the right to be offended by their homophobia and reported them?

its a very interesting question, and it should be noted that the report against Terry was by a member of the public watching Youtube footage, not Anton or anyone else on the pitch.

said "i dont give a monkeys", why would he even say such a thing? at a time when we are suppose to advocating respect of refs, why is one using such disrespectful language,

Disrespectful? Which word shows a lack of respect? "give"? "monkeys"? "dont"? I'm guessing you've never watched Phil Dowd, who regularly tells players to "go away", "piss off", "shut up" etc.

If you were going to make a point about homophobia, then I could think of better examples than that.
