Whatever happened to Pc Beard,does anyone know? Remember him and his female colleague Downstairs Beard getting plenty of verbal from the North Stand,late 80's. Lol

On a more serious note,I recall a couple of heavy-handed coppers going totally ott at Kingstonian in Fa Cup,totally abusing their position on a few BHA fans who were causing no particular harm. All who intervened were battered too,wankers :-(

Pc beard can be seen down the cricket ground as some sort of steward. No leather gloves now though!

We won 4-0 i think? You might be refering to the league cup game a few years before that? Also remember a few years back when we played pompey at home when old bill steamed into the railway bell and pepper sprayed everybody woman included and wacked everybody with their batons.

Was British Transport Police that dealt with that!!!

Anyone on the double-decker coach that went to Sheff Weds (about 2003-04) that was turned away by Yorkshire police? They claimed it had 65 "known" hooligans on it hell bent on trouble! They escorted it all the way back to Brighton

Not that common for an old Englishwoman to get mixed up in a ruck like that, especially for an away game in Spain.
