To play devils advocate here, we do not know the details. All we have is a sensationalist article. There may well be powerful additional evidence that the jury heard, so overwhelming that quickly lead them to their verdict.

This behavior in Saudi Arabia - Nightclubbing, drinking, casual sex, possibly adultery (not sure if he has 0,1,2,3 or more wives) = Whipping, jail, stoning according to the Koran. Same behavior in UK = Not guilty. Wake up world, wake the f up.
