As neither club came out of administration by the final day deadline as the new season starts tomorrow (although technically the Championship started this evening) will they be given a points deduction that leaves them stranded at the bottom of the table for quite some time ?

I don't know about palace, but I imagine pompey will escape. They agreed a deal to come out of admin before the deadline, but it was held up by the court case, and and while the court case was on going, the point deduction was suspended, pending the outcome. It was in their favour, so I imagine no points will be deducted for them.

The court hearing was brought forward from October/November , so logically on winning the case against HMRC , all the paperwork on coming out of administration should have been done today.

I just wish they'd pay their f***ing taxes like the rest of us. They should be deducted 30 points for tax avoidance.

I personally think that tax should be paid in full just like everyone else does.

In fact I think all creditors should be paid in full, no one would go to Asda get some shopping and tell them your only going to pay 20% of what you owe would they?

Palace are out of Admin.

That wasn't what I read yesterday according to an article in the Leicester Mercury in a pre match report on Leicester's opponents.

Pity. Can't stand either club.

Give yourself a hug matey and get over yourself. The season is a minute old and you're already filled with hatred.

Did Palace get back the Football League share yesterday ? All set to do so with the paperwork ready but nothing has been reported on CPFC coming out of administration. I see that the FL has given Palace special dispensation to sign players on free transfers until the squad reaches 20 players.

Our squad is just over 20 players right now. The FL gave us special clearance to play Garvan today (who, by the way, was brilliant). The share transfer is being held up by the FL, not CPFC2010, who have already submitted all the paperwork. So nope, sorry to disappoint you, but we will be out of administration shortly, without a further point deduction, and back bidding for players, including (rumoured) Jay Simpson.

Well hopefully your club will wound up in the next few years then

Until you do it all over again.

Regretfully, I don't think the FL rules state that a points deduction takes place if a club is still in administration, they only have to have an agreed CVA in place, and sadly after the failed HMRC challenge to Pompey on Thursday, both of them do have CVA's agreed and in place.

Is that right? You had a very rich man in charge before, didn't mean jack shit in the end did it - you still went bust.

I think we are quite safe with our one, at least he is a fan, which is more than can be said for your bunch of chancers. One bad poker game is not going to cost £100M is it?
