Starmer: asks precise, detailed and pertinent questions in a clear and reasonable fashion.

Johnson: gives the same answer to each question.

At one point Starmer had to ask him to listen to the question. Not that it makes any difference to the answer.

He then did exactly the same when Ian Blackford put his two questions. And Blackford also reprimanded him for not answering the question put.

What a disgrace for a PM the man is.

Jeremy Hunt would have been far from perfect but at least there would be some realism and some leadership

It is quite funny trying to guess which accusation he is going the throw at Starmer. Last week in two consequtive answers Johnson grudgingly thanked Starmer for his support in the first, then accused him of not supporting Johnson or the government in the next answer... Always funny when Johnson tries to play the Brexit card and it is ignored!..

You can visualize PMQ'S and the Prime Minstrel as a custard pie fight.... Johnson furiously throwing different sizes and types of pie's at Starmer as Starmer just sways out of the way all the time...

not sure of Stamer's line of question, highlighting areas under restriction are seeing cases rise. either need more restriction or people arent following rules, as they spreading virus among themselves. bit fortunate we have the waffle master evading, so we dont get uncomfortable answers.

Today PMQs will be interesting as Starmer has now pivoted towards 'the science' and uncoupled from the Johnson direction of travel. Johnson's attack line will be informed by the pressure he's under from his own backbenchers to loosen the lockdown. So we'll now have a properly (OK, traditional) adversarial set up. I suspect Johnson will prefer this. Whether he will still be preferring it when (OK, if) the current policy fails to deliver and he needs to use the Starmer circuit-breaker approach remains to be seen.
