What a bunch of TOSSERS :tosser:

They constantly ask you to sit down and it just wasn't gonna happen.

They were extremely rude and many of them freely swore.

One even touched me.

After the game the biggest tosser said, "might see you next year" mockingly to which I replied "f*** OFF"

That showed him, fat bastard

Unfortunately it's a problem we've had since we've moved into the 'new' parts of the stadium. It's like they're getting their own back for the bad days there had to suffer in the 80's. It kinda makes me long for the days when stewards would disappear if they ventured into the Devonport End. Apes who like their 'power' far too much.

It's a problem encountered at just about every ground in the country and will always be so until Standing Areas are bought back.

When we played there and got promotion there was a fat ginger tosser with a moustache who started to give it large to my son of 17 after he asked him to kneel down so he could see what was going on.

Some stewards are fine but others seem to be trying to compensate for their lack of standing outside of an orange dayglo jacket.

Unfortunately the comments posted are right, with a few exceptions, like the steward at Leeds who was stood at the exit saying goodbye to everyone and wishing us a safe journey home. It appears that although some do it just to get into games free or because they genuinely need the cash, there will always be a few who do it for the ego boost, I mean you must be pretty short on esteem or excitement in your life if you have to get off by wearing a yellow jacket and being arsey with football fans.

I had my home and away season tickets revoked after being caught on camera and positively identified as being a persistant stander at Home Park earlier this season. Had to grovel to the highest level and jump through hoops at LUFC to get it back.
