Can’t stand them or their smug CJTC of a manager. Hope they quickly fall back to where they belong. Plucky cheats.

It would be nice to think that Mr Smug and Bournemouth "are feeling the pinch". They have signed David Brookes for a reported £12 million but Blades fans are moaning that it is three instalments of £4 million.

It all smells a bit Palacey doesn't it. Poor show from Plucky to treat the bloke like that.

Great read. Kudos for getting this in "the moral compass of Gary Glitter in a flooded cave full of Thai schoolboys " :clap2:

"The Pluckies" to make another statement of intent with a £57 million double swoop for Colombia midfielder Jefferson Lerna and Uruguay star Diego Laxalt (The Sun). Lerna valued at £32 million - he cost Levante £500k and Laxalt at £25 million - he cost Genoa £5m.

I hope Smug Eddie's boys will have enough left to pay their FFP fine for "cheating".

Laxalt was brilliant in the WC. Surprised that a CL club somewhere in Europe didn't beat Plucky.

Possibly using their Defoe clinching tactics, of paying obscene wages.

£62m on 2 players = signalling their intent to withdraw from the group of clubs in the relegation mix, as West Ham & Stains are.

Problem is all the time a team remains in the premier league any fine is petty cash

Plucky are rich. A fee rising to £27m on one player!

They don't seem to bother with scouting any more.

Instead, they watch great players on TV, then spend sums on wages/fees at a similar level to far bigger Everton, Arsenal and West Ham.

FFP cheats?

Yeah but they have a tremendous coach, and lovely beaches. Just like Barcelona really.

This is what we are up against.

4th bottom will be success for us.

Not really, just more likely that the plucky will end up in the top half of the table. There are plenty of other clubs not spending that big and in fairness we have been splashing the cash recently. It more than likely just helps Bournemouth avoid the relegation scrap, it doesn’t make it any more difficult for us than it was already.
