Kuipers 7 - what a SAVE to deny Orient daylight robbery

From the comfort of my sofa, it seemed to be a pretty poor save. Had it bobbled away from him differently, he would now be on the receiving end of a deal of criticism. He was lucky.

Crikey, I'll have to check out the replay on the DVD player as at the point that the orient player got the ball I thought that was it and expected to see the ball nestled in the back of the net.
I was amazed that Kuipers got in the way but more to it being a poor shot than an amazing save. From that range I don't think any blame would have been attached and all he could do was try to get in the way which he did successfully.
