You're not allowed to rate Hammond highly. Its against NSC rules. Only fans of other clubs, TV commentators, reporters and football managers rate Hammond.

According to everyone on here he is 'inneffectual' and 'goes missing' most games.

Kuipers - 8 - superb save at the death
El-abd - 6 - haven't seen replays, but it seemed like you could question is positioning for second goal. Have seen far worse displays from him at right back though
Richards - 6 - poor distribution
Elphick - 7 - fairly solid.
Butters - 7 - typical Butters
Martot - 4 - why on EARTH did he start instead Robinson? Rubbish
Hammond - 7 - got stuck in more today, unlucky with two headers as well
O'Callaghan - 6 - bit erratic at times, good cross for second though
Cox - 7 - Good header, more involoved than in recent games
Forster - 8 - almost scored a stunning volley - good hit for the goal
Savage - 6 - 100% effort, although little end product today.

Robinson - 9 - SHOCKING decision not to start him - offered the urgency, pace and attacking threat that was non-existant in the first half
Lynch - 6

Crowd - 9

Kuipers 7.5 - Some fantastic saves. Distribution was quite good too.
El Abd 5 - *Sigh*. Went AWOL for at least one of the goals. Passing was poor, even if it was just 5 yards.
Richards 6 - Passing was fair but after Thornton went off he didn't have masses to do, but what he did, he did well.
Elphick 6.5 - Not as great as i've seen him previously but was still good.
Butters 6.5 - Same old same old!
Hammond 7.5 - He did very well today. May have got a higher score if not so many balls bypassed him and O'Cal towards the heads of Savage and Forster. Tackle machine.
O Callaghan 6.5 - Passing wasn't as good as Hammond but again centre midfield left out a fair bit which leads me on to....
Cox 7.5 - A couple of blistering runs down the wing in the first half. Tended to move the ball into the centre in the 2nd half but still whipped a few balls in. Well placed to head in the 2nd goal.
Marlot 5.5 - Didn't do an awful lot really....at all.
Forster 8 - Great strike. Looked deadly at times. Got out to the right a few times to help out Jake in the 2nd half.
Savage 7.5 - Our best forward in the 1st half. If he had a bit more pace he would bloomin' brilliant.

Subs
Robinson 8.5 - What can I say. Quite clearly turned the game. Fantastic effort on the right wing. Caused absolute havoc with the defence. Extremely unlucky not to score too. The lucky charm of the substitute bench strikes again.
Lynch 7 - Good to see him back. Didn't do anything wrong. Helped the team push forward to look for the winner.

Referee - 0 - Missing blatent handballs, overruling the linesmen when he couldn't see what was going on. Needs head examined for presence of a brain in the near future.
Fans - 9 - Bloody fantastic. Could hear people singing even before I got inside the ground. Still kept going even when we went 1 down.

Manager - 7 - Question marks over whether Martot should have started but all credit to his substitutions yet again and was spot on with them. Martot was doing almost nothing and Butters was looking a bit tired.

Verdict - I think a draw was probably a fair result. Orient gave as good as they got in the 1st half. 2nd half we were all over them (after Jakey came on). Perhaps we were unlucky with the disallowed goal but it happens. We created enough chances to win but 2-2 is a great result.

elphick 6.5 - didn't look as good as he has
richards 6 - plenty of possesion and crosses without causing much trouble but looked ok defensivly
martot 5 -didn't realy get involved
hammond 9 MOM- superb, got stuck in and got forward well ! superb deano
george 6 - battled away but gave possesion away to much, but good ball for the 2nd goal

bas 6.5 - not the bas of late but still gave there back 4 something to worry about

can't believe anyone that saw jake's second half performance at cheltenham last week and martot's in the last few games would have started with jakey today

so think your being very unfair there

he made good substitutions
looks like he did the rigth thing at half time judging from the second half performance
has got us challanging up the right end of the table
got us fighting hard to the end of games
we look very fit when it comes to the last 20 mins of games

I didn't go to the game, I was just going on the basis of what others have already said/posted. I had no idea who did what at the Cheltenham game, so Wilkins gets my apologies.

Thought that Hammond had his best game for ages today and that Jake proved Wilkins to be 100% right to bring him on with fresh legs and pace with 30 mins ro go.

Satisfactory performance by everybody but concerned about Butters do not think that he will start many more games this season. Ideal to bring on to shore up the defence when we are hanging on for a point or 3, but wil, probably not be first choice when Lynch is back with Elphick..

Kuipers - 8 - That save at the end was as important as either of the goals at the other end.
El-Abd - 5 - Looked to me as though he was at fault for both goals and that last minute effort.
Elphick - 6 - Steady but not as outstanding as he has been.
Butters - 6 - Used all his experience.
Richards - 6 - Didn't do too much wrong.
Martot - 5 - Thought he excellent last Tuesday but innefectual today.
O'Callaghan - 6 - Busy but still thinks he's prone to giving the ball away.
Hammond - 8 - Best game of the season. Unlucky not to score.
Cox - 7 - Some useful running and took his goal well. Shouldn't think he does much heading practise in training.
Savage - 7 - Still think he's pants. But there is something about him I admire and he never gives less than 100%. Personally I would bring him on with 20mins to go.
Forster - 8 (MOM) - He's quality if we give him the right service. Good finish for the goal and the one that went just wide would have been even better.

Robinson - 8 - Changed the game.
Lynch - 6 - Useful match practise as he gets back to full fitness.

well chuffed with the Jake substitution with 30 mins to go rather than 10. I think other teams might see us as a real threat after 2nd half performance like that live on national tv

overall rating 8.5, MOM Hamond, great will to win

Kuipers 7 - good save at the end but flapped badly at one cross (saved by Elphick?). Not too much to do really.
El Abd 6 - not his worst game but he's never been great. Better quality of players around him making him look worse
Richards 6.5 - steady performance. Liked him today.
Elphick 7.5 - mainly nullified them when we were floundering in the first 40. Really is improving.
Butters 5 - so slow now that positional sense and experience can't compensate. Creates pressure on the rest of the defence to cover his not inconsiderable ass.
Hammond 8 - loved him today. Probably has a crick in his neck from watching the balls fly over his head, but looked great tackling and running late into their box. Very Bryan Robson.
O'Callanghan 6.5 - Silky smooth and always with time. Could have done moe in the first half to slow our tempo down.
Cox 6.5 - improved after his marker went off. Jake helped him by pulling the game wider. Note to Wilko.
Martot 5 - didn't see a lot of the ball (to high to spot). Should have gone wide to create space in first 40. Probably was right to start with him based on recent performances.
Forster 8 - he did this to us for years, now he's doing it for us. Great attitude and high levels of skill.
Savage 7 - did everything asked of him. Still looks like an antelope on ice though. One good strike blocked by the oppo.

Subs
Jake 8.5 - terrific.
Lynch 6.5 - shame he didn't come on when they planned it. Think Butterball was culpable for their second goal.

Ref - was poor. But what do you expect in Div 3
Albion Crowd 9 - superb noise on the TV. Loudest "Referees a wanker" for any televised game this year. Created Orient's biggest crowd of the year. Much respect to the traveling masses.

Managed - 7 - Guy should have come off. Jake, lacking form, was the perfect impact player with something to prove. My worry is that he's now in the shop window! Would bollock Martot and remind him that we need him to use his experience and boss the play on that wing.

I was pleased to se Hammond have his best game of the season, we'll need a strong midfield for our next few games.

Kuipers 7 - what a SAVE to deny Orient daylight robbery
El Abd 6 - poor defensively (at fault for at least one if not both goals) but gave his all and supported going forward
Elphick 6 - nothing spectacular, unlucky booking
Butters 5 - slow but probably needs games as looked off the pace
Richards 6 - did what he had to do well
Cox 7 - great cross for the disallowed Hammond 'goal'
Hammond 9 - like the player of two seasons ago
O'Callaghan 7 - usual competent display, almost curled a spectacular goal
Martot 5 - back to early season performance standard. Disappointing.
Savage 5 - looked a bit off the pace and jaded. Always works hard.
Forster 8 - incredible pace and reaction for age, constant menace

Sub

Robinson for Martot 8 - changed the game when he came on. Brilliant energetic performance.
Lynch 7 - good to see him back.

All in all, I think we were very unlucky not to win. :ascarf:
