Indeed.

I wasn't trying to claim there's some sort of curse in being POTS, I just find it odd that so many have moved on. And while it's true that winning the award puts you in demand, I didn't see a mass of clubs making big money bids for the likes of Chapman, Peter Smith and Whing (although I'm aware that both of these played a few more games after winning the award)
