Y(N)uri Sahin( Liverpool)
Kagawa (Manchester United)

What are you talking about?

Sahin had 7 games on loan to Liverpool before bailing because he wasn't given a chance. Been in blistering form on loan at Dortmund since January.
Kagawa has been unlucky with injuries, and it's not as if he has done badly in the handful of appearances he's been able to make in his first season in a new country and a new league.. Will be class for United, and if not he'll be class for someone else. Also worth mentioning they're both 24. Not exactly past it are they.

Actual ones that fall into this category would be Seth Johnson (remember him? signed by Derby for £3 million at 20 in 1999, then for £7 million to Leeds two years later and did jackshit), Michael Johnson, Francis Jeffers, Bruno Cheyrou (who Gerard Houllier hailed as "the new Zidane" :lolol) the list goes on.

Jack Hobbs - Liverpool signed him from Lincoln as a 15 year old. Never developed into a decent centre-back.
Sanchez Watt - Arsenal forward. Really rated by Arsenal, but his potential never really took off. Loaned out on numerous times.
David Bentley - Described as the next David Beckham. Back at Blackburn, is'nt he?

Signed for United for £7.4 Million and was meant to be the next best thing.

Perhaps people should be enquiring as to why he could have been bought for £125,000 a few weeks earlier, and the involvement of third party owners and agents.

Intriguing that someone with a career record of 4 goals in 26 games in the Portuguese SECOND division would sign for a club of the stature of United, unless perhaps........

City are far more financially prudent. ( :lolol: ).
