Henderson - 6 Couldn't have done much about the goals but his kicking was not great today. Too many launched too far. He does not look very happy at the moment.

Rents - 6 Looks comfortable on the ball - great ball for the goal but needs to get stronger
Lynch - 5 Farts about with the ball too much for my liking and still lookes like he needs to bulk up a bit to cope with the likes of Falon and Allsion.
El Abd - 4 Slow to the ball, never commanding in the air the weak link today. Better at full back.
Hart - 6 Did Ok but expected him to get forward more.

Cox - 7.5 MOM by a mile. Inventive and good work rate.
Carpenter - 5 - Wayward passing and did not control midfield
Hammond - 5 - Again looked like he was lacking confidence going forward. Very slow player at the moment. Should have scored near the end but fluffed it.
Loft - 4 - Looked lost on the left and rightly subbed.

Revell - 6 Better in 2nd half and won his fair share of headers but did not threaten the Chesterfield goal at all.
Williams - 6.5 Promising when fed the ball and well taken goal. More like him please Deano.

Subs: Robinson 4 Took the ball too far and touch was very poor., Santos 5 - Desperation substitution that did little to influence game.
Gatting 6 Little chance to amke impact.

Overall the worst performance I've seen so far this season. Hope that Butters is fit soon as we badly miss his experience at the back. The youngsters will battle hard but they need leadership on the pitch and Chippy and Hart did not give that today as the older heads in the side. If we can use the wings better and get Frutos firing again Williams could score goals for us and looks like a useful acquistion. However the defence needs a lot of work, we were porous against a very average Chesterfield side.

Revell 7- Worked his socks off once again.
Williams 7- Took his goal well, but couldn't really settle into the game during the first half, with all the lumping forward of the ball.

Subs:

Robinson 5- Definitely needs to start against Blackpool, took his man on well. Just needs to get more body strength.

Gatting 5- Needs more body strength aswell as Jakey.

Santos 4- Sheer desperation really, didn't do anything.

and we shouldn't be giving out 0's when a player is subbed early for a tactical change.

Henderson - 6 No chance for the goals, generally commanding, kicking not so good.

Hart - 6 Not a right back, but didn't do much wrong. 100% effort as always.
El Abd - 5 Poor today, looks better at full back.
Lynch - 5 At fault for both goals. Needs Butters alongside him telling him where he should be. Needs to stop believing the hype and get back to playing football.
Rents - 7 Great ball for the goal. Started nervously but grew in confidence throughout the game.

Cox - 7 Deserved the MoM. Worked hard, was trying to be creative.
Carpenter - 6 Not his best game, but by no means his worst. Not helped by Hammond at all.
Hammond - 5 Poor again today. Headless chicken running around with very little product. Should have scored.
Loft - 5 Sacrificed early as formation wasn't working. Looked better when the formation was changed, but not involved enough.

Revell - 6 Worked hard as usual, tried to give us options in the air.
Williams - 6 Took his goal well and tried to get involved but to little effect. Will hopefully improve when he knows the rest of the teams names!

Robinson - 6 First touch let him down today, and should have gone hard and low across the face of the goal instead of blazing wide near the end. Pace troubled them.
Gatting & Santos - 5 Not enough time to make impact.
