How much longer can we keep Hinshelwood? He played out of his skin today.

I'd agree with that, every player played brilliantly, I thought Knight and Hinsh were superb again, I also thought Reid had a very good game

He didn't really have that much to do, considering the pressure we came under, apart from one blinder from Ziegler. On the con side, the first goal was disappointing and his kicking was off again. 7.5 maybe.

Kuipers 7 Two excellent saves but it was the Cardiff equaliser all over again, beaten by a looping header, why so far off his line?

Mayo 8 Top class, his skill on the ball is a joy to watch
Virgo 6 Efficient, but I wish he'd been up front!
Butters 8.5 Brilliant, surely his best game in the Brighton shirt, has at last stepped into Cullip's leadership boots
Hinshelwood 6 Effective without being too flashy
Reid 7 Very classy coming forward

Oatway 7 Together with Chippy, bossed the second half
Carpenter 9 Absolutely outstanding, we worried about the op, but this is the Chippy of the last few seasons, as good as ever. Fantastic goal.
Harding 7 We wondered why on earth McGhee was playing him in midfield so much in pre-season, now we know. Full of energy, pace, skill and invention.

Hart 6 Avoided getting out the autograph book long enough for a very steady performance.
Knight 7 Ah, the ever-inspirational, and the fan's favourite. Two great chances missed though, an unbelievable tackle by Kelly when one-on-one with the goalie, and another shot blazed wide - but possible offside?

From a spurs point of view

Kuipers 6 - 2 great saves but cheers for the 1st goal, lobbed from a corner is not great keeping

reid 8 got well forward got great tackle on defoe in first half

Hinsh 9 Fantastic, highlight was when he stopped Yates scoring with wonder block

Virgo 8 Did nought wrong

Butters 8 won everything in air, nothing he could do for winner

Mayo 9 MOM Again played above his level looked at home somehow at this level

Chippy 9 Wonder strike and tackled back well

Oatway 7 tackled well

Harding 7 gave ball away for first goal , however looked at home at this level

Hart 8 won lots in air and chased a lot of balls down

Knight 8 Troubled our defence looked good on ball again maybe found his level?
