sorry if anyone has done this already but havent see one.

Anyway from watching last night dont think anyone was outstanding so gonna leave it to see what you lot think.

Only heard on the radio but sounded like the pitch didnt suit the way we play... Kuipers again showed his relexes and kept us in the game. Possible tiredness in the second half after the exertions of saturday?

Kuipers - 8 made some good saves and encouragingly is looking for quicker distritbution which I feel has been a flaw in his game for some time.

Calderon - 5 a few sloppy passes which we havnt seen from thus far, solid defensively but an average performance

Virgo - 7 solid and looking far more like the Virgo that helped sure up the defense at the end of last season

Elphick - 7 solid as was Virgo, both have massively improved over the last few weeks

Painter - 5 similar to calderon relatively solid at the back but not sharp enough going forward, would be suprised if Jimmy Mac doesnt get the nod on saturday

Bennett - 3 his passing was off, he looked lazy, his corners were terrible and he consistantly gave the ball away cheaply and had no real end product bar 2 balls all night, suprised to see considering how good we know he can be

Navarro - 7 probably one of his best performances for us, he does really well to interrupt the oppositions play and spread the ball to our more creative players, pleasing to see.

Crofts - 8 proper battling performance from the skipper, worked hard never gave up on anything and grabbed us a point from a game I didnt think we were going to get anyting from with 20 mins to play

Dicker - 5 like Bennett hes capable of better and never really got himself in the game today

Murray - 5 missed a brilliant chance in the first half and looked to cause problems for stockports back line but never really got into it until the last couple of minutes, another big game player who didnt show up for us last night

Forster - 6 like Crofts, always puts a shift in and works hard but didnt quite happen for him, though he was unlucky not to score at the death.

Subs

Dickinson - 6 lively and caused a lot of problems but needs to be more composed and think about what hes going to do wit the ball more

Carole - 6 same as dickinson


Overall performance - 6

The team looked lazy for long periods of the game and were maybe suffering a hangover from saturday, dissapointing as theyve shown they really can play over the last few games, hopefully back to their best on saturday!!

 

[Spider]

Only got there at half time, from what I saw the whole team looked very poor. Forwards won nothing up top, even when we had three up there. Midfield were consistently outplayed and always second to the ball. Defense weren't too bad except for backing off and off for their goal. A truly terrible performance. Stewards were the worst steward I have ever encountered at a football stadium. Not the best night but at least we nicked a point at the end!
