For the record, Mayo's rating in the NOTW was 5, which was the lowest by an Albion player. Fact.

Yes, but we all know that the NOTW is deliberately sensationalist. My mate in the main stand looked over the shoulder of the NOWT reporter and clearly saw him mark down an 8 against Kerry. However, the sub-editor obviously got hold of the report and altered it to a 5. How anyone can actually believe that Kerry occasionally has a poor game is beyond me.

IHe did okay, but Scunny played the ball through the middle rather than down the right, and so he did not have a lot to do.

I really don't think that was the case, Scunny were attacking constantly down Mayo's wing.

It's a shame that there aren't Opta stats available for games like this as I think you would see a considerable amount of successful tackles against Kerry's name.

tbh I very much doubt they had anybody there so gawd knows where their ratings come from ...

Maybe they log onto fans websites and take the first ratings that they see - the timing of El Presidente's post would allow that

5 is average, it is half of the maximum mark, the equivalent of a Grade C at GCSE etc. Therefore it is not bad, it is average. I also gave two other players a 5 and one a 4.

Different people have different views, that is part of the beauty of the game and life itself. For example, some people prefer European Cumbath 28 to Anal Pandemonium 17, but I am not one of them. It does not make either party right or wrong (although personally I find it surprising given that the plot, camerawork and narrative stylings of AP17 are practically peerless), it simply makes us different. So why squabble, nothing will be gained.

At the end of the day anyone with over 1000 posts is nothing more than a Billy Nomates with an internet connection and all of us in that category should accept we have more in common than we have differences.

Sort of. I agreed to waive my fee if he agreed to drop the NOTW story involving Graham Norton, myself, and the vat of custard.

Really nice bloke.

for what its worth

Henderson 6
Whing 7
Butters 7
Hinch 7
Mayo 6

Hammond 7
Cox 8
Fraser 7
Hart 8

Revell 10
Williams 6

jakey 7
Lynch 7

All in all good performances all round. Thought Heno dropped the ball a bit too much for my liking. Defence were strong and looked good.

I know you lot will accuse me of sucking up, but I think we look 100% better with Butters on the pitch
