Cox- 5, made some good runs in the middle and should have shot from the edge rather than pass as I felt he could have made it 2-0! gave the ball away too many times which is why he got a 5. Seems lost and doesnt know who to pass to when Jakey isnt playing.

What I thought.

There was a couple of times where he passed without looking at the runner and plenty of times when he had the opportunity to put an early ball across the box where one of the strikers was free, but instead chose to wait, allowing the defenders to get back.

He played well though, just not as good as some people think IMO.

Yes, it is, honest. Pretty much everyone on here, and in football in general, uses a 6 for a poor performance, a 7 for an average one, and an 8 for a good one. I don't see the point in having a scale out of 10 if you're only going to use 3 numbers from it. I go with 5 being an average performance, and work up and down from there. Therefore, Elphick's 7 proves he was excellent. For a 9 or a 10 I'd be looking for a performance that won a match single-handedly, and was clearly a significant cut above anyone else on the pitch.

You obviously don't play FM -

10 - Thrilling
9- Very very good
8 - Very Good
7 - Better than average
6 - Decidedly average
5 - poor

Anythign less is awful.

Are those genıuses at FM morons?
