just got back. we were utter utter shit. peircy injected some spark into the side when he came on and i'd be VERY surprised if he didnt start for jones on saturday.

mchpee (not saying anyone played well but...) continues to look more and more the good pro striker instead of the youth reserve player we've seen over the last few years.

Michel 1 you do not carry the ball out of your area to take a kick!!
Mayo 1 stop giving the ball away.
Jones1 try and win the ball occasionally and then hold onto it. Chippy 4 you were slightly better today but watch your positioning
Cullip 5 you were your normal solid self but stop hoofing it
Butters 4 you won everything in the air but your positioning was off today
Hinshy 5 you were ok but could be covering better
Hart 5 there was more effort today and a couple of nice crosses
Pethick 2 sorry you are not a midfielder
Knight 4 you tried and could have done more running today. I know the team aren't getting the ball to you but you can try taking it on your own. You managed it against Weds
McPhee 6 Thanks for the consolation goal. You didn't give up even though you slipped a few times (what is up with modern boots?)

FDM 3 - Confidence shot to pieces, kicking better than last week
Hinshelwood 4 - Did nothing spectacularly badly, distribution non existent
Mayo 4 Time for the Atkins diet Kerry
Cullip 5 Looks half the player he was
Butters 3- Slow, immobile, and for a big bloke does not command high balls as too fat to jump
Carpenter 4- Runs around but does not boss midfield
Pethick 2- Fish out of water
Jones 3- Too lightweight and not an attacking force
Hart 5- Gave 100%, but saw too little of the ball
Knight 6- Only player prepared to run at defenders. Able to hold the ball up well
McPhee 5- Tried hard, still lacks guile
