Butters for me - a remarkable turnaround from last season and just what we needed bearing in mind Blackwell injury

Butters for me. Shades it over Danny C.

Else it's a vote for Goalscorer Of The Season which Leon would undoubtedly win. Maybe there should be seperate awards, an Albion Golden Boot Award, cos both acheivements are worthy of an award but for different reasons. Never met a single Albion fan who would claim in all seriousness that Leon stands out on the pitch, or even catches the eye, and most of the shouts ever aimed in his direction - certainly from the comfort and safety of H Block - are of the 'Get Up Leon!' type. Great penalty taker, half-decent sniffer in the box, but Player Of The Season? - Havin' a larf aincha? :dunce:

player of the season is not about who was sh*t, fat and overpaid and has improved, but the person who has consistently performed the best. Cullip must therefore be ahead of butters.

Can't agree. Cullip has had some stinkers. Butters hasn't. You're quite right about the relevancy of the level of improvement, but Butters has had by far a better season than Cullip. Totally solid in EVERY game.

To paraphrase Hart to Hart, '...and when Cullip and Roberts get together - it's moider!' Don't get that with GB.
