I'd be interested to know if this figure can be substantiated.

I'm not knocking Cox btw. I think he has talent and would definitely attract interest from other clubs. Just not sure that he's quite worth 500k at the mo though. A figure half that with a sell on clause seems much more feasible given his age. Mind you, perhaps that amounts to the same thing.

Probably not. But not even Virgo was worth as much as he was sold for, so you never know. Another good season from Elphick could see a potential transfer fee reach that size.
