Grimsby fans are now staring reality in the face , a week before , they were hoping to make a great escape. The chairman made a mistake with the cheap option of appointing the head youth coach when Mike Newell was dismissed , the club has depended on too many loan players as they cant afford to buy outright. Most of the first team squad are journeymen who will leave at the end of the season along with the loan players which means Grimsby will struggle in the BSP. The chairman has pumped about £7M into the club and wont see a return on his money as the new stadium will never be built.

Couldnt agree more..true fan, top fella. Was listening to Talksport this morning and an Arsenal fan from Brighton phoned in to say hes stopping going to the Emirates because he feels Wenger not taking the team forward!!!! Ah yes....guarantered top 4 finish must be just bloody terrible and hes obviously a true fan......what a plastic premier league tosser!!!!! Give me a club like ours any day of the week!!!

My favourite bit. An admittedly good mate of mine is typical of these plastic idiots and acted like their exit to Bayern was the end of the world. Also, when I had a debate with him about our protests against Bellotti etc in comparison to their Norwich City scarves, he said "well we wouldn't run on the pitch in a very important game against AC Milan". Should have seen his face when I said Brighton v York was a more important game to me.
