On Saturdays evidence he deserves a go but all the other times I've seen him he has been distinctly pub. The one game he did start he made Marney look like Ryan Giggs when he came on.

i think he should start soon, we haven't got anything to lose really and he needs a chance to prove himself

I agree he looked better at Lincoln.

I saw him play against Rotherham last season, in friendlies and as a sub - not impressed.

As Jonah is having such a bad time at the moment maybe this is his chance but don't go looking for a tremendous improvement although I would like to be proved wrong.

:glare: Give him a start, let's see what he can do, maybe he'll prove a few doubters wrong.... Jonesy has been CRAP recently it won't hurt to throw Piercy in. McGhee has got his work cut out if we are to get a win on Saturday, we need to get the ball moving to feet and start playing the passing game that we all know the lads are capable of doing.

Give him a go and he must be allowed a proper run in the team be effective. Bit parts here and there are no good.

When I have seen him the reserves he always looks quality although I admit it is only the reserves. Funnily enough, everytime I see Jake Robinson in the reserves he does not seem to shine. Even in the reserve game against Cr***a* P***** when he scored he did not stand out. This rather strange bearing in mind how bloody good he is meant to be and the clamour for him to walk into the first team.

I dont understand all the piercyphiles - he has played in quite a few games and has been totally shit in every one - the last game he started at home he was a joke and rightly subbed. He is shit, and should not play for us. He does nothing and doesnt provide any defensive cover or even look interested - Grade A wanker.

On a similar subject what the f*** is the 'lets play hammond' et al mob on about? Do you think that just because we have a player on our books he is better than the current incumbant in that position. It fucks me off- lets play hammond, time for piercy, bring back Virgo and all that bollocks - maybe the blokes who have worked in football for 10, 20 30 years every day know a little bit more about what makes a player and tactics and what the actual situation is within the club than keyboard wankers who spout complete shite and prove day after day they are unable to add any insight on any subject apart about what f***ing sandwiches they had for lunch. Mine were pastrami by the way.

Well I do believe he is better than Pethick in that position actually. I saw him play last season & he looked good - and that was in Division 1. At the moment we're playing a right-back in centre midfield
