seems like ARTOIS merged the threads AND changed the title AND deleted the icon....GOON! :p

ANYWAY back to topic, yeah Uncle Buck, maybe McPhee is not in McGhee's plans or something, thats worrying cos I thought he was alright :nono:

This must be a ruse to fool Port Vale. It would probably have worked if Brian Horton was still Manager. In other words, a complete joke ! (in poor taste as well).

A better ruse would have been to say Paul Watson is in the team. Then Port Vale could spend all week to trying to stop his free kicks and then he doesn't play :lolol:

I think Piercy is the logical choice to fill Big Trevs boots. Jake is a bit too small in stature, and McPhee hasn't quite got the bulk to compete with centre backs. Piercy probably has.

I will let results speak for themselves. I do not for one minute think than John Piercy will play upfront. But if he does I will be wrong ???

I think it will be Kerry Mayo instead :jester:

i think piercey probably will
mcphee might get a chance but a robinson and knight partnership would be awful(no height WHATSOEVER)

Piercy may start up front - but who takes over when he goes off injured after 30 mins?

It's not possible to bet on Piercey to score the first or last goal on Bet365, which is a bunch of arse

Given McGhee's preference for box-to-box workhorses in midfield, you wonder if the only chance Piercy will get is up front. I think he is a great finisher but may struggle with holding up some of the long balls fired into him.....worth a go though, classier player than McPhee.

But McPhee has not even been on the bench the last few games, just a bit odd.

He's on the bench today.
