I'm sure there'll be a couple of signings pretty soon, but what team would you pick now?

4-4-2
GK Roberts
RB Hinshelwood
LB Watson
CD Cullip
CD Butters
RM Beck
LM Harding
CM Wilkinson
CM Hammond
CF Knight
CF McPhee
Subs MUST include Robinson

Midfield needs replacing completely and we need players who desperately want to play for us. Some of the current lot don't seem too keen.

Blimey, are we related? I wouldn't even disagree much about the 1 difference in our outfield players.

Difference is the young players are a year older, we're a division lower and some of the experienced players aren't cutting it. Our midfield needs dismantling.

The funny thing that worrys me is that these youngsters we send out on loan don't seem to do much and are not setting the world alight and thats a fact.

We have many tough times ahead and need a total revamp all the way through.:drink: :drink: :smokin:

Maybe that's a solution to our defensive and midfield problems. Harty can defend pretty well, Piercy can play full back. Can't be worse than what we're doing now!

What is all of this about Dan Beck?!

He has hardly featured at all so far so i think it sa bit much for everyone to start saying he should start in the best team?! Harty is one of the most commited players we have and also imho one of are best and most creative, he hasnt been fit recently but sropping him would be mad.

Hammond has done very well at Orient by the sounds of it. Hinshelwood has been fantastic this season. McPhee has been in the first team and is looking very good. What do you expect? Cristiano Ronaldo?

We don't need a revamp. We'll be throwing away something special. :drink: :drink: :smokin:

If we are serious about promotion then Trigger is nearer the mark.

Personaly I think the time has come to break up the Championship winning sides and bring some fresh blood in

OK so we cant just go out and splash a few hundred grand around but I think with some players released to free up the wage bill then McGhee can hopefully find us a few shrewd free's and loans (loans will do at Central Defence & Midfield with Rodger & Blckwell to come back)

The players I have in mind are Butters, Pethick, Carpenter, Oatway, Watson & possibly Mayo
