I think it’s a Lesser Black Backed Gull… Perhaps we should rotate Gull species on the crest every kit change?

At the risk of turning this into another bird spotting thread...it looks like a Herring Gull to me. Upper wing too pale, and not enough black on wing tips, for LBB

I think you are right because the European Herring Gull apparently has a small red spot near the end of its beak (underside of). You can just about make this out if you zoom in on the Amex/Lancing picture.
