Phone In

Someone had to start a thread. As I'm not Harty's favourite NSC'er, it might as well be me.

My neck aches from shaking my head so much. We get the Chief Exec on and what do we get? 2 QPR fans, 1 manic depressive burbling on about Harding, a 7 year old asking about music and Hugo.

I'll accept that the guy from Helsinki might not know what everyone else does about Park & Ride but I'm struggling to think of one intelligent question put to Martin Perry.

And I don't want to hear the excuse of no-one else phoning in because, according to Mr Hart himself, it was "banging".

And finally, a personal plea. We all know that Andrew Hawes' interviews have been recorded and are played from tape. It's pedantic, I know, but stop seeing him out of the corner of your eye, please. The looped playing of the start of McGhees interview blew the gaff! And it bugs me as much as Dale Winton pretending that the quiz he has just hosted is live when he does the lottery.

Actually I disagree.

I think it was a very good phone in, we got different opinions from different spectators and having Martin Perry on was very interesting.

Its up to who calls up first, if you think you have something more interesting to say, why not call up yourself?

Its good to hear it straight from the horses mouth, and Perry answered every question given to him without beating about the bush. Although, it is annoying to see that the club only seem to come on air when they need us to do something for them.

Harty is always gunna get problems with idiots coming on, but then he needs the occasional moron to keep the ratings up. Hugo was sent packing, and whats wrong with hearing what QPR thought of us today?

Personally I thought it was a good phone in.

I didn't phone because I was driving - as with every Saturday. We don't all live in Brighton.

My point was that there were little or no intelligent questions for Perry to field. The ridiculous suggestion about moving playing fields. The request for music after a goal. The same old question about extra seats. A 5 minute history of the Salvation Army. Some guy droning on about Harding for 5 minutes. Someone wittering on about us raising money to repay directors, FG Style. Hardly taxed the Chief Executive, did it?

I dare say it did.

I'm simply arguing that you can't call the phone in disappointing because of the questions asked to the chief exc. I doubt there are ANY good questions to ask him. We know whats happening at the club, or at least we know all the answers to the questions that the club can answer.

The chief exc is only their to try and get us to part with money. If the club didn't need us then they wouldn't bother going on air. It's either writing letters or giving them money - neither may i add - i mind doing. Its for this reason that the qualty of questions wasn't very high, what do we want to know? The club have told us everything we need to know!

The calls wern't the best, but what do you expect! we just threw away three points...we were always going to get one manic depression on...every other week we get a FG wannabe.

Look at the positives. harty got Perry on, he got opinions from the away end etc,

I do admit that the rant on the Salvation Army was boring. like we could organise anything like waht was suggested!

If we are going to dip in to save the club, did anybody ask if the Chief Exec. was going to take a pay cut?

theres no sign of you being sarcastic...how worrying!

Music when we score is absolutly the worst thing ever! I would simply sit and chant 'off off off' if they dare started it. Cheesy and shit.
