He has got a bit of a point though. Lots of my friends aren't away members but go to a lot of home games. They talked about ticket stubs but not - oh - and it might help if you join as an away member!

I think Gaz has put an interesting case forward, and I am someone who actually thinks the club has got this ticket allocation stuff right.

When the club asks fans in future to keep ticket stubs, they should specify that home ticket stubs will get priority for home games, whereas away FA cup ties will be partly prioritised in a different way - rightly, by attendance at away matches.
