Nah, Koosh is OK by me. When you think of Phil Neville he is inextricably linked with Man Utd. Not the same with Koosh or McShane - I'm too young to properly remember Ritchie and too young for Dawson and O'Sullivan

If it were possible, i'd drive to Liverpool and pick him up myself. Would be great for the kids to learn from and is pretty versatile too.

Won't happen, or at least i can't see it happening - can see him going to one of the promoted clubs perhaps - a Cardiff or someone like that.

I know a good few Everton fans who think he's been past it for them for at least 3 years.

Not really, there'll be a lot of younger fans out there who will only link him as being an Everton player, with maybe a knowledge of his playing background but no actual memories of it.

Now, if you'd said inextricably linked to his brother who's inextricably linked to Utd then fair enough.

Edit; As an example, Ashley Cole is rarely thought of as an ex-Arsenal player and he's been at Chelsea for a shorter period than Neville's been at Everton.

I always have respect for a limited player who can play at such a level for their entire career.

He's obviously been overshadowed his entire career by much more able players, but something a lot of fans don't appreciate is that most sides need balace, discipline and organisation. He's one of the players who has that in abundance, and i'm willing to bet most opposition players don't enjoy coming up against him.

A greatly committed player and good man. Can't really remember seeing him in the news for anything too bad. Much respect to him, and i'd take him at Forest as a player-coach without doubt.

Like someone else said though, he'll have plenty of offers close to home. Wouldn't be suprised to see him at Wigan.

THIS still hurts mind.

I know a good few NSC members who think we should get rid of Gus. Doesn't make them right though.

Reading this post just made me think of someone Brighton fans don't appreciate....
