Is it me or is he really shit ?

As the drummer for the Peter Gabriel fronted Genesis, he was part of one of the best bands of the 70's. The early stuff when he fronted the band with albums like Wind and Wuthering he was pretty damn good too. After that he decended into repetitive muzak, best kept for lifts

..........quite like "Against All Odds" though - lends itself to very ammusing overblown cover versions

I hate Phil Collins ! No... I REALLY HATE HIM !

I was forced to listen to this awful album on a recent car journey and I feel unclean. The mental scars run deep.

His whiney little yelp of a voice is like the scream of a kitten being mangled in a mincer.

The fact that he left his wife when she'd passed her sell by date for a younger model says it all really. What an odious little scamp he is.

The dullness oozes out of every heartfelt whine over this by numbers adult pop. He makes James Bland... sorry Blunt, seem like Sid Vicious.

I would not recommend you buy borrow OR steal this album. If you are given it as a gift, set the person and CD on fire at once as they must really hate you and obviously want to hurt you.

No he is shit, I cite him and Genesis as reasons not to listen to Radio 2, how can you give credibility to any DJ who thinks that he is the cutting edge of musical excellence. It could just be that I am an incredibly poor judge of musical talent, or my tastes are not stuck in the 80's.
