Just paid £1.11.9 a litre @ Morrison,s Leek. When you start work as early as 4 am and it is 14 mile drive to get there you don't have much of a choice, but to run a 'set of wheels'

It is incredible how companies like Tesco can charge £110.9 for deisel at Broadbridge Heath and Holmebush but £114.9 at Burgess Hill and Durrington are the distribution costs that much different.

£1.12 for Diesel here. Cheapest. When the winds in the right direction you can smell Fawley, 6-7 miles as the crow flies so delivery distance not a factor in pricing.

1.80 per gallon in your British money where i am too. and that's for the premium stuff, regular grade is about 1.55 per gallon. has gone up by about 20 cents in the past couple of weeks though...

On another thread about petrol prices somebody suggested Tesco charge more for theirs so that when their promotion of spend £50 and get 5p off a litre of petrol is used that brings it back down to the average for the area.

Tesco in Lewes put their prices up when Esso was refurbished recently, they haven't dropped back after Esso reopened, so they have been a couple of pence more expensive than the United Petroleum station up the road ever since.

And yes, they do always seem to get more expensive whenever their 5p of a litre promotion runs (not sure it is at the moment?)
