I too remember watching these games and thinking 'wow, we're going to murder the Championship'.
No one, absolutely no one, even dreamt of Europe back then (except maybe one person, but he kept it quiet. He had a 10 year plan).

I had to buy two tickets for that game. The first was a terrace ticket but I had some strange post viral thing where I had no energy. So my second ticket was a seat.

I went with my dad and some friends. My dad drove and dropped me as near to the ground as possible.

Brilliant game.

I was fully recovered for Charlton away which was another incredible game.
