I received a text, an email, a phonecall from Bruno just to the noise of him rummaging through his beard, and then a ring on the door, to which i answered, finding an Uber driver, saying very slowly, T-H-I-S I-S F-O-R Y-O-U, whilst releasing a slightly unpleasant and meaty aroma. The whiff spoke to me of its chewy steakiness, its aridity and an overpriced pastry to it. I knew then that it was a "Barber", and i breathed it in kindly, knowing he'd gone the extra mile to send me his regards.
