retirement

I took early retirement at 57 and have never regretted it. Had a clear financial plan and cut out goings a lot. Also had voluntary work all set up. Footballers retire mid /late 30s and not all can get jobs in football. Point being players need to save when earning well, plan a career outside the game and realise they cannot live the life they did when at the top of their career. Clubs have a responsibility to provide financial advice and guidance on all the potential addictive behaviour patters that all of us face. i.e gambling, drinking etc.

Gambling.

I love a punt, but I would be the first to admit that gambling should really be illegal - it ruins too many lives and contributes absolutely nothing to society.
