People leaving early - AGAIN

That is the most annoying aspect of them all leaving. The good part of it is that it doesn't take me too long to leave the ground because shitloads have gone before I leave my seat.

Going back to the Stockport game-do you not think it was a message to the players that we weren't happy and leaving early left all at the club in no doubt that the supporters are becoming very unhappy?

I stayed and always do but personally I think Saturday's exodus will have got the message through to the players a lot more effectively than the booing at Brentford. During a good run hardly anybody leaves because they're expecting another goal-even in stoppage time.

This leaving early is not peculiar to the Albion though is it? ManUre suffer from it, as do Liverpool, Arsenal and all other teams regardless of the division they are in. It all depends on the performance on the day. Withdean also has its own set of reasons for wanting to leave early-the park and ride being number 1 reason, especially if you live 50, 70, 150 miles from Brighton and getting on the first bus can get some people home almost an hour earlier.

If people want to leave early then so be it, they can f*** off home and cathe the Premiership results if they want to as long as next time they crawl out so they DON'T GET IN EVERYBODY ELSES VIEW.

The amount of times that the last 5 minutes of the game has been ruined for me by people wanting to get home a bit earlier is astounding. Show some respect for your fellow man please.

Very true, unless you've tried it you'll not know.

Having said that we always watch the last 2-3 mins from the running track, applaud the players off then leave, as do a lot of others.

Safeway, if people want to leave early, who are you to moan at them? People pay their money, they can do whatever they want (within reason)

If they want to slag off your favourite player, then they will do. If they want to leave early, they can and will do

Perhaps people have to get home for genuine reasons, or perhaps having sat thru 90 mins of absolute shite (I was in Hull saturday so I cant comment on the game) they've just had enough and just want to get away from the ground.......

Doesn't make you more of a supporter if you sit to the bitter end, if people want to go early, that's fine by me, means there is more leg room for me to sprawl out!!

Don't make the mistake of thinking that by staying to the end make someone a "bigger", more "loyal" supporter, because it doesn't

Iam with Dancin Ninja on this one, although I have never left a game early in 20 years I still think it is up to the individual, Iam sick of this 'Iam a better supporter than you' crap.

If people want to go early, for whatever reason, then that's their loss, but don't slag them off for it (unless they obscure your view)

Well on saturday I stayed until the bitter end and on tuesday I left early. Strangely I was more f***ed off with losing on saturday cause stockport were truly shite but I didn't leave early as ther eis always a chance of coming back when youre one behind. That said I was throughly pissed off when the game ended and wondered why I hadn't left ten minutes ago.

Yes, you have paid you money and are entitled to leave when you want but i've paid too and want to see the last few minutse if you don't mind.

This thead has been done before, and I ranted about people would not leave concerts, or the cinema, or whatever takes your fancy. I stay with Krispies to the bitter end, and applaud the team, and yes I even did the same last Saturday.

I stayed too but following Saturday's effort and Tuesday's shambles I'm damned if that performance deserved anything other than a collective moon from the whole of the South Stand.

That would surely scare the bejeebers out of them....

this is saltdean steves son by the way. yes i did leave the game about 5 mins early but only cos the amount of wankshites in the crowd alway giving the players grief, one little mistake and the get a mouthful. i would love to see some of these "supporters" play footie them selves cos they havent a clue, every footballer makes mistakes. why do you think paul brooker fcuked off to play in the reserves for leister, i really think after saturday i wont be goin to withdean, but away from home its a different story thats were the real fans go. wot do u think?
