They're not misses tho. They're saves by the keeper, some of them pretty good ones at that. But if the ball's hit hard enough on target it drastically reduces the chance of the keeper getting down/across to the ball. Obviously.

We shall be able to watch it on the FL show tonight but in most cases it is a case of the goalkeeper moving well before the kick is taken and the ref and lino not doing their job properly. Not saying that about todays as I havent seen it but it was in the one against both Southampton and FCUM.

It was an average penalty that was well saved although there was hardly any height in the ball. Top corner penalties don't get saved. I would have Calderon taking them.

If a penalty was awarded with a few mins to go could Gus makea subsitution and bring on Sparrow and his first kick be the penalty, is there anything in the rules to allow this or otherwise.
Bit risky in the first half if the player wasnt considered the best choice to start.

Murray is technically superb but for some reason on pens he seems to mis kick the ball or scuff it (bar the Woking one), very strange. As for Mike Ward giving advice on what to do on the phone in well words fail me
