Suggestions as to who should take penalties after our horrendous form this season? Why isn't 1 person being assigned the task? With the team being mixed up a lot up top and midfield, would it be an idea to assign a regular, i.e. calderon, to the task?

Yeah exactly, its the tinkering (necessary or not- subjective) up top which has caused this. A regular needs the job.

Needs for the manager to dictate who takes any given penalty. Currently just seems to be whoever picks up the ball.
He did, it was Murray. Then he missed a couple and it was Bennett. Then he missed and it was Barnes. Then Barnes wasn't on the pitch, which is where the current problems have come from. Wood scored one missed one, then next time Barnes walked away for some reason leaving it to Bennett again.
I don't know if it's still Barnes or not, but they should know and they should all be practicing because there's no reason good players like Bennett and Murray should keep missing them.

We need to stick with same player, whoever it is (Personally I would give it to Bennett or Calderon)

What they need to do is practice the frigging things, every day, until it becomes second nature for all of them. And then keep practising some more.

Someone needs to place it to the 'keepers LEFT instead of his RIGHT.

Apart from Wood's against Bristol Rovers, EVERY spot kick has been to the right of the goalkeeper and they have done their homework.

On the BBC Sport website they're saying Murray missed the penalty. I read on threads it was Wood. Confirmation please?

Think it is supposed to be Matt Sparrow now but a bit hard to take a penalty when you are not on the pitch.
