f*** me we need a football topic

So, when we get a penalty, what do you do?

Personally its a split second of joy, punch the air, then f***....he's going to miss.

However, I see plenty of fans celebrating like we've scored. Also, you see a lot of players these days congratulating the player who has one the penalty like he has scored....

what do YOU do?

Very similar to yourself AP. My reaction at Cardiff was "YES!!" for about a second, followed by about a minute of hiding behind my hands, just knowing that he'd miss.

Thankfully I was wrong.

digressing a bit, Leon must have one of the best penalty taking records in the business?

I celebrate briefly, then shit myself as despite having a great record, Leon never goes for power which always gives the keeper a bit of a chance if he gets lucky.

I believe he has never missed one. But then he's only a nipper.

Sure Matt Le Tissier only missed once in his whole career.

Yeah as above really. I second or two of joy followed by a sick churning of the stomach as Leon (or whoever steps up)

Was more nervous when Leon stepped up to take that penalty then I have ever been before! :clap2:

I didnt have time to stress, i was still jumping around celebrating the pen award.....turned round to see Leon put it away.

2 seconds later and i would have missed it.......i would have been absolutely devastated if that had happened !
