I heard a rumour that Weller was going to sign for us and also read elsewhere on here that someone else expected him to be one of our signings.

Not sure how much truth is in it but would be pretty good.

PS - Brooker is definitely coming back. He went on the team holiday to Spain and told my friend he was signing for the Albion.

Yes banter is banter and is fun. That is why I made a point of starting a thread that was poking fun at the fact I had got it horribly wrong. What bugs me is that there are a couple of people who seem to just wait for me to say one thing wrong, type something they do not agree with or mispell something and then jump on me and have a pop. Surely there are better things to do?

It was just someone mentioning it a pub last weekend. Did not give it much thought until I read it on here. I wasnt trying to start a rumour on it, more trying to see whether there was any truth in the one I had heard.
