A couple of days ago I spoke to a supporter who goes to every game home and away including pre season foreign friendlies who went to a DK book signing and he said that he was surprised and disappointed that DK hardly mentioned the club and gave the impression that he has reverted back to supporting his original club Arsenal. This may be absolute b......s but that was the impression he gave and would fall in line with the point that he is not happy with TB and the board. Before anybody suggests it this is not me having a further pop at DK as I have no need to, just passing on a fellow supporters, who doesnt post on here's view.

I doubt that as he was at Bournemouth on Saturday unless he was soliciting more book sales.

I find this whole debacle, after the Poyet crap, exactly what the club really do not want and it was all started by the book launch. The sooner this goes away the better, when you know your time is up and you have to go just do it quietly it will happen to us all one day in our working careers so take it on the chin as opposed to this nonsense.

Perhaps the club should issue a statement, either way for or against the book, and put this matter to rest.

Silly old bat
Sad day, the Chairman has stayed stoically silent during this rather sad episode from the Life-President, I assume the inner rectum drew short straws as to who would write this letter so shame Paul lost.

Paul isn't part of any inner rectum, whatever that may mean.

Predicitve technology speak for 'sanctum'

To be honest the fewer letters and comments in the public eye about this now the better. Would be best if Paul's letter is the last word on the subject.

Blimey, inner rectum. How times have changed. I think we as fans owe more to Paul S than possibly anyone. After all if he hadn't spotted the change in the articles, we would all be going shopping every Saturday!

Of anyone, I think he has the right to say what the hell he wants

Agree with this sentiment but rather concerned all hadn't been able to keep everything under wraps.

Unlike Samrah to sit on the fence.

The fence is where every sensible supporter should want to sit on this occasion. There is no longer any point anyone grasping their lapels and making a pompous speech on here or anywhere else in favour of (or against) one Albion saviour or another.

All Paul was doing was asking those concerned to put any differences, arguments and grievances behind them and work together for the good of the club. It was people working together that got us to where we are and it's people working together that will get us to where we want to be.

Mrs Not Andy Naylor is a regular writer to the Argus letters page and what appears is usually a heavily-edited version of the original. I'm assuming the same has happened to Paul S's letter, so accurately judging his opinion may not be as straightforward as it seems.

This sums it up for me. Got a lot of time for PS.

Paul has a point...as Dick has....thought we left this all behind with the ending of the Archer/Bellotti/Stanley years....looking between the lines I think that Dick does not like this impasse as much as we don't....we all have different views on politics, our way of life...but the one thing we all agree on is our love for OUR club....All together now....

I agree with Paul. Time to all move forward together. Lessons to be learned on all sides. DK right to say 'be careful where we are headed' and TB right to say 'the only way is forward.' Listen, learn and move forward together.

All Paul was doing was asking those concerned to put any differences, arguments and grievances behind them and work together for the good of the club. .

Reading the letter, what PS actually asks people to do is "draw a line in the sand" which is a fairly a confrontational statement and one usually made in anticipation of conflict. In The exact opposite of what I believe he intended.

I imagine the expression he was looking for was "draw a veil."
