Paul Reid Aussie footie

[Questions]

I`ve just been watching Paul Reid playing in the Aussie A cup final and he looked to be playing pretty well, he even took a corner and got it passed the first defender.
I was wondering though what level their football would be compared to our leagues.
Championship or Div 1 would you say ?
I think we should have kept Reidy even though he did struggle somewhat with injuries. He certainly looked a lot better than we have here now.
