I don't think him being injured every so often is a problem. If he's fit enough to play 70% of games then fantastic, he's a class act, and for the other games we'll still have M.C Leod and Cox out wide. Perfect.

You said he had played 29 games in the last three seasons. 1 in 8 would mean he has missed approx 210 games over that period. That is 70 games a season. Something doesn't add up....

I doubt he would be on a huge wage. We would be mad to offer him £1,000s a week. I would imagine that we would offer him a basic wage, that we deem to be acceptable, and then an appearance fee.

Someone of his calibre does not come round everyday and I think he is worth a punt, personally.

Why? Ifill clearly is very good, some premiership reserve may well be shite.... Alistair John for example (I'm sure Charlton were still in the prem then!)
