I'm going to plead ignorance - or a pretty comprehensive attack of amnesia - here and ask what's people's problem with Paul Hart? Why is he so hated?

I don't understand this hatred either. In fact, give his work on bringing on young players, I'd have thought he was reasonably well regarded.

I've seen his managerial record and it's true that it's not the greatest - but he does have an career average of just under 1.3 points per game (assuming 3 points for a win and one for draw) - that's roughly on par with Micky Adams for example.

No hatred from me. What surprises me though is that in spite of a consistently average record some pretty high profile clubs have taken a punt on him. At least Adams has enjoyed a bit of success in his managerial career.
