Patio tax

Not sure what all this about saw a referenc eto it in the paper does it mean i could be stung for more Council tax for having a patio?

I think it refers to the proposed overall review of the Council Tax bandings which, potentially, could 'penalise' people for making improvements to their homes which increases the value. I think 'Patio Tax' just sounds a bit better than 'loft conversion tax' or 'SHIT UPVC Conservatory Tax'

I think shit UPVC conservatory Tax is a bloody good idea

while theyre at it they should also intoduce a' I f***ed up a nice period house by putting crap plastic double galzing in' tax

Bloody tax office, I want a revision of the current tax system, it is a load of arse. I recently submitted my tax return, today I got a nice letter from the tax office informing me that I had overpaid my tax during the last year, we are talking a fair sum here. Whilst many would regard this as a nice bonus in the run up to Christmas, and with my car insurance due next week, I have spent the last year trying to manage on a fairly tight budget whilst those robbing buggers have been creaming off more than they should have done, mind you at least they will be giving it back to me.
