I have always wished that the Albion could bring out scarves like Liverpool whenever we heard the club anthem. Some may say it's stupid but you have to admit, whenever you see the Kop and singing You'll Never Walk Alone it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.I know it seems a little farfetched but it just makes me wonder.Still,I'm sure the new Kop end at Withdean will give it their best!

At the foot of the downs
Sitting in the kop when its in full flight, is without doubt one of the best football experiances one can have !!

Seconded, Easy. Anyone who went to Anfield for the Cup game in '91 will remember what it looked and sounded like when people still stood on it. Absolutely awesome.

Standing in the Kop would've been infinately better.

As one who has stood in the Kop I agree. The atmosphere in there was fantastic. They have totally ruined it by making it all-seater. Try finding a Liverpool fan who will disagree with seating after Hillsborough and that's another matter though.

When the Albion were there in the cup in the 90's I seem to remember the red hordes going rather quiet. That Mickey Small goal was amazing, I thought I was gonna have a heart attack.

I do indeed. It took my breath away.
I actually remember it very clearly. The Kop was full, and the first time I saw it, it was kind of "framed" in the distance by the concrete tunnel as I walked up the steps from beneath the stand to take my seat. Once I emerged from the steps, and saw the whole of Anfield for the first time, it was simply awesome.

The only thing that has surpassed it for me was that same moment I walked out into the Millennium Stadium. A real shivers-up-the-spine moment.

As I remember it, it was us who were awesome that day, not the mickey mousers.

We were indeed Lokki, but the roar they let out just before they kicked off the second half, kicking towards the Kop, remains the loudest thing I've ever heard at a football match.

I've always thought Marching on Together would go nicely at Falmer!*Cue the words 'shut' and 'up'*.But whenever Leeds sing it,it sounds so incredible with the echo. Also at the Shearer testimonial, when the Newcastle fans started waving their scarves around their heads,it looked utterly incredible.A man can dream.....
