Parts of Croydon that are nice

Haven't there been 6 murders in Croydon in the last 10 days? I guess you can rule out those areas anyway...

i got lost in new addington a few weeks ago.

thought it'd be a short cut home and didn't get out again for about 2 hours

there is ONE nice part where a bloke on my baseball team lives but i don't think it classfies as actually in croydon (that may explain it!!)

down bromley (?!) way, his road is next to some big woods and its well nice there.

Well neither the Queen or government think Croydon is nice.
That is why they threw out their city bid 2 years ago!!!
They obviously have taste that is why Brighton & Hove succeeded. in 2000.

You may be thinking of Orpington way somewhere.

For a couple of years when i was a nipper, I lived in a place in Croydon called Longheath Gardens........ was quite nice as estates go in those days......... went back recently and it is a friggin ghetto...................... what a dump.

Went to Monks orchard school there, that looks really crap too.....
