Now this is going to be an interesting thread!

Waiting for a volley of amusing (and some unpleasant) abuse.

Shirley Hills is nice.

West Wickham is nice.

Now runs for cover.

Shirley Hills Perry? Are you sure?

I was originally from New Addington - lovely red sky at night from all the cars on fire.

I used to live in Sanderstead, very nice. As for nice parts of Croydon I do like the um, no can't thing of anything, not even the 'mini-Manhattan' view you get coming across the overpass.

Oh, it HAS got an Ikea though.

Parts of Croydon that are nice...hmmm *strokes chin thoughtfullly*

Ahh. The Budgeons in Addiscombe has new linoleum floor tiles, and they've re-painted the double yellow lines in Albert Street.

Other than that though, I'm struggling a bit.

I thought the Budgens (Sp Easy!!) has gone to be replaced by Saladin Kebab Parlour, the lino still looks good though!

I tend to walk around Croydon with my head bowed as I've found that eye contact is never a good idea there, hence my ignorance as to the correct spelling of Budgens/its transferral to Saladin.

But thanks for pointing it out

Sorry you may feel that way when your team plays, but i`m happy either way win, lose, or draw.
No point being a glory hunter.

Strange how eye contact in Croydon is seen to be a form of aggression towards other people.
I grew up in Croydon but hate walking around there today. It is sad as i really enjoyed my childhood days in Thornton Heath the last 20 or so years have really changed and God know`s what it will be like in the next 10/15 years gang warfare most likely.
I think i might change my user name to `what you f**king looking at bloke`.
