Park & Ride for Extra Seats

The opposition to Carden Avenue being used for Park & Ride is nothing to do with traffic. It is everything to do with trying to prevent more people watching the Albion at Withdean - and it is orchestrated by people who continue to object to us being there at all.

as for the its hard to get tickets excuse
here is an idiots guide to getting a seat at withdean

1 ring the ticket office

2 state what game you want to watch

3 select the area of the ground you want to sit in

4 select a valid method of payment

5 wait for ticket to arrive through the post

5b or collect it from the ground

6 take ticket to the withdean

7 watch the game

That is crap, I'm afraid.

1 wait for the game to be announced as on sale

2 apply by post for no more than 2 adult tickets, with sae enclosed

3 wait til after closing date to see if you are succesful in the ballot for tickets

4 if you get tickets they will probably be in the crap section behind the goal

5 Go to game, get soaked in a ground with no atmosphere

6 queue for half an hour in the rain for a Park & Ride coach after game

I didn't go to Withdean at all last season, it's a horrible place to watch football. I'd rather spend my money (& my rota days) on going to away games.

Not making excuses. It's an awful place to watch football, I don't go there.

I put cash in the Club through the scratchcard games ( standing order), and by buying merchandise from the Club Shop, buying Withdean Tickets is not the only way to put money into the club.

not having a go but

try the club for general sale BEFORE getting a ticket from the exchange on here, its the BEST WAY TO STICK MONEY INTO THE CLUB,i love away games for better atmosphere and the chance to take the piss out of northern monkeys but away support gives nothing financially to club, especially pay on the day like wigan, not even the chance to make a bit out of postage and card fees.
STOP MOANING ABOUT WITHDEAN TICKETS BEING HARD TO COME BY and make the effort to go for the ballot or wait for general sale

quite what the bother is with finding another larger and more suitable park and ride site god only knows! every ******* summer, parts of brighton and hove are turned in to rubbish tips by those scum with caravans. these so called travellers or PIKEYS have now moved to the piece of land opposite ASDA. and the albion are not allowed to use the top of carden avenue for park and ride. I ASK YOU!!!

is there a need for more seats at the moment with the club not selling out?

Most teams in this league would easy take 1,500 fans.

West Ham & Wolves would probably fill the ground with their own fans, along with a few other teams.

On the more high profile games we'd attract 12,000 - 15,000 easy.

Are you palace?

He's pledged a pound for each brain cell you and ernest have. So the club is now better off by £1.50.

I do not go to many home games because I have to write of for tickets. I then have to wait and see if I am lucky enough to be one of the chosen ones.

Maybe I could just send off for all games and then if I am lucky enough to get more then I need sell the rest? Or prehaps I can do what I do know which is pick the away games I want to go to, where I know that due to the distance etc that I will either be able to buy on the gate or have no trouble getting a ticket.

If and when we get Falmer, this will not be an issue, I know that I will be able to get tickets for any home game I like. Until then I will keep to my away games and the odd home game.

thing is you could just apply via he lucky dip bag but then if you cant go maybe work commitments etc you're stuffed as no one wants a ticket whehter coz belive cant get one or genuine dont as we cant sell out so its an expensive gamble going for lucky dip unless u r 100% sure u can get to the game assuming u get a ticket it also messes up other plans/arrangemnets as u put these off etc in hope u get a ticket to withdean then face the dissapointment of not getting one!
