800-1? Anyone on that?

Didn't think so...

Wow what a race, the last 60kms just flew by.

Like everyone else I had a moment when I thought Stan was going to do it, (thanks to Eddie B-H).

Some seriously impressive bike handling out there.
As P said Sagan riding over Cancellara's bike was jaw dropping.

Fabulous race and real proper sport, roll on next year.

Out of the 5, in a poll, it's unlikely that we'd have picked that name.

Brilliant race.

Absolutely, particularly considering he had been in the break, but as Sean Kelly said, it is possible that Hayman was able to get a relatively easy ride in the break compared to the other four? Still an impressive ride especially considering he broke his arm only a few weeks ago!

Ashamed to say that was the first Hell of the North I've sat and watched live in over 30 years of cycle fandom (I tend to only have time for the highlights)...loved it though!
Spectacular day of racing, & its all summed up brilliantly in this short film....

That is really good - It is an odd one having both been there many times and watched at home many times, both experiences offer something very different. The ultimate is catching 2-3 sections of Pave say even including the Arunburg Trench and then squeezing onto the terracing at the end in the velodrome, However watching at home gives you something the live experience most often cannot and thats knowing what the hell is going on.

Brilliant race yesterday - would have loved for Stannard to have come over the top but equaled the great day we say Hammond get third in a noisy French cafe much to the bemusement of many continental cycling fans.
