Saw a video yesterday of people having dinner in a restaurant while outside was burning from the riots, it made me so proud. Paris is a wonderful place with a diverse and rich history and a population that's had enough of the oppressive boot on its neck.

There was rubbish piled just as high as in that second picture on Ditchling Road last year during the binmen strike. I remember because my son lived about 20 yards down from it. So yes, every bit as bad.

I don't know whether Brighton last year was worse than Paris is now, but I certainly saw piles of rubbish on Brighton's streets that were of similar size to the one in the photograph above. Sorry if that somehow offends you.
